Organizational Membership Application

New Organizational Membership
  • One Time Application Fee  $200.
  • Membership terms follow the calendar year, January 1st to Dec 31st.
  • The annual renewal fee is $50. Notices will be sent out each January.

Members must sign and agree to uphold a membership agreement which includes support for the vision and mission of the OCLT. Vision: Adequate affordable housing available to anyone who needs it, and community-based housing providers leading solutions to make that happen.   Mission: As an incorporated non-profit, the Ottawa Community Land Trust (OCLT) operates as a social enterprise, pursuing innovative ways of preserving housing affordability. Its mandate is twofold: to acquire existing rental properties to turn into non-profit affordable housing, and to secure vacant land to develop various types of affordable housing in the future. The OCLT is committed to keeping housing affordable in this area forever.

If you’re interested in specific kinds of engagement with the Trust, we invite you to express your interest in specific committees listed below. If the committee is accepting new members, the chair of the committee will reach out at an appropriate time. If none of these committees quite match your interest or skill set, please describe any ideas you might have in the "Other" section.
